The Folkey Monkey is a showcase vehicle for acoustic singer/songwriters.
Host Joe Rathburn and percussionist Jeff Stasny share the stage with a different invited guest songwriter. They trade original songs and stories for two hours straight.
Also each week Joe's guest picks a favorite artist (or occasionally a topic) to whom they pay tribute throughout the evening.
Since October 2005 The Folkey Monkey has been a popular and reliable source for good live folk/acoustic music presented in a listening room format.
